These new stores needed kites to fill their walls, so Go Fly a Kite became a distributor of the kites they were offering in their store. In the 1970s, manufacturing became a new goal of Andreas. Andrea and second husband Mark Skwarek moved the operation to East Haddam, CT, and turned Americas first kite shop into one of the world’s leading kite manufacturers.
